JAPANESE MEALS

JAPANESE MEALS are well known around the
globe. Who would not know what a Sushi or a Tempura is? Japanese are popular in
mastering the art of creating their dishes. They cook and make foods as if they
are works of art. They take pride in inventing dishes of high quality and fresh
ingredients that they even don’t mind cooking the dishes live or in front of audiences
just to prove that they make the dishes in such a way that they are supposed to
be made.
Japanese meals usually consist of
seafood and they often use sticky rice in all of their rice meals and even
desserts. Some people are even intimidated to recreate such dishes because of
how the Japanese represent their meals. This article is made to make your Japanese
cravings into reality, not only will you save money from going into Japanese restaurants,
you will be able to add your very own twist in the dishes that you will be able
to create.
Basic sushi rice
- Ingredients :

1 cup Sun Rice Japanese Style Sushi Rice

1/4 cup Obento mirin seasoning
- Preparation:
Clean the rice by rinsing 3 times in
cold water unless the water comes clear. put them in a sieve and place sideways
so that they may drain.
Place a saucepan over medium flame and add rice along
with 1 cup cold water. Cover and let them boil. Once they have boiled, reduce
the flame to low and simmer for 12 minutes. When all the water has been absorbed,
take it off the stove and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Take a large ceramic dish and take
out the cooked rice in it. Stir them with the help of a spatula so all the
lumps can be resolved. Slowly, add in the seasoning while turning and flipping
the rice. Serve warm!
